Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources will close the boat ramp and floating dock at Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park on January 2, 2017. The boat ramp, located at 6345 Clark Street, Hudson is being renovated and is estimated to reopen on May 23, 2017.
Renovations will provide a larger launching area to better accommodate boaters. Additionally, the existing floating dock next to the boat ramp will be replaced with one that contains internal pilings to increase mooring space for boaters while launching.
The Anclote River Park boat ramp, located at 1119 Baillies Bluff Rd, Holiday, FL, is an alternative boat ramp that can be used while construction is under way at Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has a complete list of other boat ramps available by clicking on this link: http://bit.ly/2hNkh9T.
