Citrus County to hold Contractor’s Forum on the use of SHIP funds
Citrus County Housing Services will be hosting a Contractor’s Forum, focusing on the use of State Housing Initiatives Program (SHIP), on Thursday, February 23 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the Citrus County Resource Center, 2804 W. Marc Knighton Court, Lecanto.
SHIP funds may be used to assist program eligible individuals and families with the rehabilitation of their homes for repairs to correct serious structural and/or health and safety related issues. Repairs including re-roofs, electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling, doors windows, septic, well etc.

This program DOES NOT REMODEL but will be used for homes that are in need of repair. All rehabilitation repairs must meet all applicable Federal code requirements, including the all Florida Residential Building Codes, and all applicable local/County codes. If you are a licensed
contractor (general, residential or possessing other appropriate licenses) and are interested in bidding for services, please join us at this event.
