2020 Alzheimer’s Family Organization caregiver support groups in Citrus County announced

Debbie Selsavage, President of Coping with Dementia LLC and a volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Family Organization, has announced a schedule of family caregiver support groups for 2020. 

2020 Alzheimer’s Family Organization caregiver support groups in Citrus County announced

AFO-authorized support groups are free and open to the public.  They are intended to provide ideas, information on resources, and moral support for families living with dementia in a welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere.  While they are intended primarily for caregivers, individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia are allowed to attend the Citrus County meetings.
Support group meetings will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Coastal Region Public Library at 8619 W. Crystal Street in Crystal River on the following dates: January 14
February 11
March 10
April 14
May 12
June 9
July 14
August 11
September 8
October 13
November 10
December 8, 2020

Support group meetings will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1100 W. Highland Boulevard in Inverness on the following dates:

January 8
February 19
March 18
April 15
May 20
June 17
July 15
August 19
September 16
October 21
November 18
December 16, 2020
