Live Oak Theatre is pleased to announce that, in response to many requests from its fans, its first conservatory season offers a beginning tap, jazz and ballet class for grownups. The class is found on its website under the title of “Adult Dance Combo,” and will be taught by Miss Jane Russell Geddings, who comes to Live Oak Theatre from the Patel Conservatory in Tampa. The class is held on Mondays from 10 to 11:30 am or on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 pm.

To make it convenient for parents who wish to attend the Monday morning class, a companion class for young children will also be taught. Music and arts appreciation combo is offered from 10 to 11:30 am. The class is an introductory course covering the fundamentals of music and other aspects of the fine arts. Subjects will include music history, music theory, music theatre, composition and general arts appreciation.
