Fourth annual fundraising event benefits Pasco’s senior nutrition program

The Feeding Pasco’s Elderly Fourth Annual Ambassador’s Breakfast raised a record $40K to benefit food-insecure seniors in Pasco County.  Proceeds from the event support the Pasco County Senior Services Division’s senior nutrition program.  The breakfast also honored Spring Engineering CEO Richard M. Bekesh for his continued service to the Pasco community and for his positive impact on regional development.

“This annual event is a great way to help seniors who are struggling to afford nutritious meals,” said Pasco County Community Services Director Kimberly Price.  “Locally, the need is so much greater than people realize.  We are thankful for the financial support Feeding Pasco’s Elderly provides, allowing us to better serve our food-insecure citizens year after year.”

One in six seniors in Pasco County is hungry or food insecure.  It’s not too late to help provide desperately-needed meal service to those who are unable to help themselves.  With your support, we can ensure that no senior is wondering where their next meal will come from.
