Applications available for rehabilitation/replacement of homes

Hernando County is providing housing  assistance for underserved and low- to moderate-income, owner-occupied  households for the rehabilitation/replacement of their homes. This program  is available through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program  as part of a U.S Department Housing and Urban Development national objective  to revitalize conditions in qualified neighborhoods.

or at the Hernando County Health and Human Services office located at 621  W. Jefferson Street in Brooksville. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The application deadline is 4:30 p.m. on April  23, 2018. Each completed application will be time and date stamped to ensure  compliance with the application acceptance period. Final application ranking  will be determined by the required guidelines, set forth in the Hernando  County CDBG Housing Assistance Plan.
