Art in the Park seeks Volunteers for March 12 and 13
On March 12 and 13, 2022, the Hernando County Fine Arts Council invites you to join us for the 37th Annual Art in the Park being held in Tom Varn Park, Park, 301 Darby Lane in Brooksville.
Art in the Park is an annual event dedicated to fine art, craftsmanship, and community that creates a unique opportunity and tradition for artists, collectors, and patrons of the arts.
Art in the Park seeks Volunteers for March 12 and 13
As you might suspect, it takes many hands to make this event happen. The Hernando County Arts Council, who puts on the event, needs volunteers to help.
“We could use people for as little as an hour, or as much as two days,” says Festival Chair, Allisa Babor. “. We begin setting up around 8 AM Saturday. Shifts can be whatever they want them to be. The volunteer coordinator will contact them once they submit that they are interested. Some examples are hospitality area, collecting surveys, checking on vendors, relieving vendors (for restroom breaks), helping with setting up tents for ADA artists.”
Artists and artisans showcase a wide variety of works and mediums inside of Tom Varn Park — a natural setting surrounded by beautiful oak trees in Brooksville, Florida. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $5 for parking.
NatureCoaster will have a booth at this year’s event, and we welcome you to stop by for a free sticker and map of the area.
