Attend The Holiday Rotary All American Extravaganza April 20

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on April 10, 2019

The Rotary Club of Holiday will host their annual fundraiser, The All American Extravaganza on Saturday, April 20th from 6-11 pm. It has been a staple event in Pasco County for decades. This fun and charitable event will be held at the Rotary Pavilion @ The Concourse, 11919 Alric Pottberg Road in Shady Hills, Florida.

This year marks their 37th anniversary and includes a very special purpose. The Club has chosen to make a special donation to Moffitt Cancer Center to honor their club member, New Port Richey Police Chief, Kim Bogart.

Chief Bogart has been courageously battling cancer this year and credits the outstanding work being done at Moffitt to diagnose and treat this insidious disease that affects so many families.

Moffitt is recognized as one of the nation’s top hospitals for cancer treatment. The Club would love to break attendance records this year which will increase their donation on behalf of Chief Bogart. And they are celebrating in high style – the Extravaganza, presented by U.S. Water Services Corporation, includes signature barbecue with all of the fixings as well as the open bar, fabulous silent auction items, door prizes, and the ever-popular Reverse Raffle.

Greg and Tom King were original members of Stranger and Greg’s vocal range and ability are equally matched by his magnetic personality making everyone in the audience feel like a friend.

Live entertainment includes music by the Greg Billings Band, the latest incarnation of the popular Tampa Bay area band “Stranger.”  Greg and Tom King were original members of Stranger and Greg’s vocal range and ability are equally matched by his magnetic personality making everyone in the audience feel like a friend.

In addition to the donation for Moffitt in honor of Chief Bogart, the funds raised by this event support the Rotary Club of Holiday Endowment Fund, a non-profit 501c3, which supports many charities including Rap House, Pace Center for Girls, United Way Stuff the Bus and others.

The club supports two Interact Clubs, one at Gulf High School and the other at Anclote High School, as well as providing scholarships to their Interact graduating students.

Tickets are available online at http://www.HolidayRotary.eventbrite.com, or by contacting any Holiday Rotarian.

The Rotary Club of Holiday garnered the 2017 “Outstanding Service Club of the Year” at the 73rd West Pasco Chamber of Commerce banquet, and is responsible for hosting two of the major street parades in New Port Richey – one in the spring during the Chasco Fiesta festival and the other in December, the Rotary Club of Holiday Christmas parade.

The club meets for lunch every Tuesday at Brixx 33 Grill on SR 54 in New Port Richey.
