Plan to attend this year’s Annual Music in the Park Bluegrass Festival on Saturday, April 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (rain or shine) at Fort Cooper State Park, 3100 S. Old Floral City Road, Inverness.
Hosted by the Friends of Fort Cooper, this year’s Festival features five Bluegrass music groups as well as food and craft vendors.
Bring your lawn chairs (no alcohol or coolers are allowed) and listen to some toe-tapping music under our old Florida oak trees, draped with Spanish moss.
Fun for the entire family! Advance tickets – $10/adults, children under 12, free – can be purchased at the Fort Cooper Park office or at the gate the day of the event for $13/adults, children under 12, free.
The Festival is coordinated by Tin Roof Shack Productions. This year’s featured Bluegrass bands are: “Wry Whiskey”, “Pasture Prime”, “Big Cypress Bluegrass”, “Stillhouse Shakers” and “Alligator Alley”. Concessions will be available for purchase.
