Brooksville’s Founder’s Week will conclude with a Car Show 10/15

The City of Brooksville, in collaboration with the Brooksville Main Street Program, will celebrate 160 years during its weeklong Founders’ Week celebration from October 8 through October 15. Founders’ Week will open with celebrations from 9 am to 3 pm during the Market on Main Street, October 8, and conclude with celebrations on October 15 from 9 am to 1 pm. The week long event will feature a wide variety of activities each day of the week.

The City of Brooksville’s Founders’ Week celebration will conclude on October 15, 2016, with a car show at historic downtown Brooksville on Main Street and Ft. Dade Avenues.

The entry fee is $10 per car, which will enter the participant’s vehicle into individual categories including:  Best of Show, Queen of Show, King of Show, Kids’ Choice, Club Participation, Best Jeep, Best Mudtruck, Classic Car, Best Show Truck, Extreme Import, Custom Import and Muscle Car.

Additional categories are $5 each and they include:  Best Paint, Best Wheels, Best Engine, and Best Interior

Cars who decorate their trunks for Halloween, who dress up and have candy present for our “Trunk-Or-Treat” for the kids, will receive free entry into the main show category.
