Burn Ban in effect for Citrus & Hernando Counties
At its Tuesday, April 11, 2017 meeting, the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners adopted countywide burn bans due to continuing drought conditions and the high potential for wildfires.
Pasco County Board of County Commissioners is expected to follow suit, so please do not burn until conditions are safe for our communities.
This Burn Ban includes; open burning, campfires, bonfires, fireworks, burning trash, refuse and other debris.
