Coping with Dementia

Coping with Dementia LLC was formed in 2014 by Debbie Selsavage, Certified Dementia Practitioner, to promote Alzheimer’s awareness and provide training to both family and professional caregivers for individuals living with dementia.  It’s stated mission is to “Make life better for those living with dementia and their caregivers.”  In addition to training in person-centered compassionate care, Selsavage provides guidance, information, and resources to ease the burden on caregivers.  Selsavage is also certified by Teepa Snow in the Positive Approach to Care, a licensed assisted living facility administrator, and President of the Alzheimer’s Family Organization.  Her columns on Alzheimer’s and dementia appear monthly in the Citrus County Chronicle and Senior Voice of Citrus County.  To learn more, go to www.coping.today or e-mail deb@coping.today.
