Frazier Farms

Frazier Farms is a family-owned farm in Brooksville Florida that has specialized in growing the BEST sweet corn for over 40 years!

What started as a part-time hobby for our parents has grown into a full-time business for us now. We still have many of the same customers visiting the farm today that have been coming for great corn for many years! Our loyal customers are what keep us going and we look forward to seeing them every season!

We are open for two seasons every year. Our spring crop is harvested in May and June and our fall crop is harvested in October.

Spring is a fun time of regeneration here at the farm.  It usually runs about 10 weeks from mid-May through mid-July.  We carry all sorts of fresh fruits and vegetables.  As birds stretch their wings in the sun, you can almost see the corn growing right before your eyes.  We are delighted to meet everyone that comes to visit and enjoy seeing old friends too.

There is nothing like buying corn right out of the field and fresh produce to prepare for your family.  You know you are giving them the very best food to keep them healthy, and it’s packed with flavor.  We also carry fine treats like apple butter, jams, jellies, BBQ sauce, honey, and salsas that perfectly compliment any meal or are great for giving as gifts!

For the entire Spring Season, you will be able to choose melons to take home.  We bring in wagon-loads of watermelons, cantalopes, honeydew, and others every week.  The prices vary according to size so you are sure to find just what you are looking for.  They make great snacks, salads, jellies, salsas, desserts, and more.  Kids especially enjoy helping to pick the perfect melon!

We enjoy our Fall Season so much here at the farm.  It usually runs about 6 weeks from mid-October through the end of November.  There is joy in the air as the holiday bustle begins, and we are delighted to offer so many wonderful things to brighten the season.  We hope you visit us and relax in the cool autumn air.  And don’t forget about our annual festival!

Wonderful smells and sounds fill the air during our Fall harvest season.  Everyone who visits is excited to purchase goodies, corn, and crisp vegetables to prepare for their families.  We offer up fine treats like apple butter, jams, jellies, and salsas.  Come see our delicious Fall sweet corn coming in by the tractor load, fresh from the fields.

During the entire Fall Season, we bring in wagon loads of pumpkins.  Bring the kids to pick one out for carving … they are all sizes and shapes.  Or choose the perfect one to make your tradiditonal pumpkin pies.  You will also find corn stalks, hay bales, and colorful gourds for splendid autumn decorating!  Bring your camera to capture memories at the farm.

The weather does play a large roll in the exact dates of harvest which is why we recommend calling to make sure we are open before making a long drive to see us. We have a customer list that anyone may join so that you can be notified by e-mail when we are open throughout the year. Click here to join our email list.

Along with wonderful sweet corn, we also carry a variety of fresh produce at very reasonable prices. Much of the produce we carry is grown here in Hernando County by local farmers.

Don’t forget to browse the huge assortment of jams, jellies, salsas, relishes, and sauces we carry every season. They are great for breakfast, for using in recipes, and especially for giving as gifts.

Local honey is often delivered to our farm straight from local producers, and sometimes we are lucky enough to get our hands on some cane syrup.

Find great decorations for your home during the Fall season by selecting corn husks, hay bales, and decorative gourds.

The farm is a very special place for families, where seasoned customers introduce their love of farming to new generations. Children seem to enjoy learning about where corn really comes from!

When you visit, you will undoubtedly enjoy the atmosphere of our open air barn where people meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. The sounds of tractors working in the fields and smells of fresh produce make our farm a place you will want to visit again and again.

We occasionally hold festivals and always encourage the little ones to name the corn babies made especially for them right here at the farm.

So come for a visit … and sit a spell.  We can’t wait to meet you.
