It’s not your Grandma’s Antique Store!
What a fun shop to visit! Local, historic artifacts are accompanied by the stories of their former glory and often their journey to San Antonio Antiques.
John Herrmann, formerly of Art Moderne Antiques in Tampa’s Ybor City, has opened a storefront antiques shop in San Antonio, Florida. Located at 11853 Curley Street, the loft-like store is on the ground floor of the historic 1946 Herrmann Building, which recently underwent a complete renovation.
From late 19th century through 20th century modern, we feature an eclectic mix of antiques, furniture, original art, lamps and accessories in an open, loft-like 1,100 square foot space.
John has found and sold antiques throughout the U.S. and he brings a keen eye and great sense of wit to his collection of items. With a “make me an offer” attitude to sales, this store is a fun place to pick up the perfect gift or piece to finish your room.
San Antonio Antiques is in the historic Herrmann Building, originally built by the proprietor’s father in 1946. Visit us for a bit of history and a unique selection of Floridana, mid-century modern, and decorative arts items.
Additionally, there are several stores in the South San Antonio district, a gift shop, custom embroidery items shop, pottery shop, pizzeria, bike shop, home designer, karate school, collegiate and school clothing shop, and a yoga studio, so take a short drive to State Road 52 and Curley to discover San Antonio Antiques and their neighbors. You are sure to be glad you did.
