CARES announces Director of Community Engagement
CARES (Community Aging and Retirement Services, Inc.) is proud to announce that they have hired a new Director of Community Engagement, Melissa Kehler.
“We are so excited to have Melissa join our team,” said Jemith Rosa, President and CEO. “She has an impressive background working with non-profit organizations and brings a genuine passion for community outreach to CARES.”
Kehler has more than 20 years of experience in non-profit leadership roles and most recently served as Executive Director of Chinsegut Hill Retreat and Museum in Hernando County.
Previously, Kehler served as Chief Operating Officer for Feed Our Vets, where she focused on fundraising, community partnerships, and strategic planning.
“I am thrilled to be part of an amazing team and organization. And, I look forward to continuing to grow CARES positive impact on our community,” said Kehler.
