Celebration of Lights at The Concourse begins November 30
It’s that time again for “Celebration of Lights” to shine at The Concourse in Shady Hills from November 30 through December 23 much to the delight of children and families throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Organized by the Celebration of Lights committee that includes Gary Joiner Property Appraiser, Amanda Hart with Blackjack Media Group, Rob Mahler with Pasco County Parks and Recreation, Sherry Joiner, and Cheryl West, this event returns in late November with ample opportunity for weekly and weekend viewing.
Drive Through, Walk Through and Ride the Trains
Celebration of Lights is thrilled to announce that this year you will be able to not only drive through The Concourse and Safety Town (11919 Alric Pottberg Road, off of SR 52) at $10 per car, open Sunday through Thursday nights from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 6 to10 p.m., but you will also be able to walk though Safety Town where there will be vendors and Santa Claus.
There will be train rides available for just $4 per person, open Friday through Saturday nights from 6 to 10 p.m.
Celebration of Lights was conceived by Dave Parris, the founder of this annual event. Dave had a vision for Tampa Bay’s premiere holiday attraction, where young families made memories and one day would bring their own grandchildren. This would be Dave’s legacy. Proceeds from the Celebration of Lights will benefit local organizations based on attendance.
