On Friday, June 22, a 100th birthday celebration was held at Central Citrus Community Center, for June Watson who has been a member for almost two years.  Many of her friends came to the center’s event to wish her a happy birthday as a new centenarian.

June Watson became a centenarian on June 22, 2018, her official birth date.  The definition of a centenarian is a person who lives to or beyond the age of 100 years.

June was raised in North Dakota and has lived in Florida for 7 years.  During her working years June was a shoe salesperson.  She has also always loved gardening as a hobby.  She has 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Central Citrus Community Center was honored to celebrate this special birthday with such an amazing lady!
