Citrus County Aviation Advisory Board Welcomes New Members, Changes Meeting Location

At the Tuesday, February 8, 2022, meeting of the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners, current members of the Citrus County Aviation Advisory Board (AAB) George McDonald and Jim Booth were reappointed, and new members Charles Carr and Carl Flanagan were appointed.

The AAB met on Thursday, February 10, 2022, where the reappointed and newly appointed members were sworn in. Heiko Kallenbach was elected to act as Chairman with George McDonald as Vice-Chairman. At this meeting, the AAB decided to begin holding their meetings at the Crystal River and Inverness airports as an effort to get more local pilot and citizen participation. The next AAB meeting will be on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 4:00pm at the Inverness Airport FBO facility, located at 4250 S Airport Rd, Inverness.
