Citrus County Nonprofit Grant Program Now Accepting Applications

The grant program’s purpose is to assist Citrus County citizens adversely impacted by the COVID‐19 Pandemic and will provide a grant for food distribution, or/and health care expenses in Citrus County. The Nonprofit Grant Program is specifically for 501(C) (3) organizations excluding member groups. The Citrus County Nonprofit Grants Program currently has $300,000 in available funds.

A completed online application must be submitted by February 26, 2021 at 5 p.m.; including an IRS W-9 form; Form 990 filings for the past three years; and a formal presentation to the BOCC, scheduled for March 16, 2021. To receive a copy of the application form, email [email protected].

Deadlines are strictly enforced. All materials submitted with an Application will become a matter of public record, open to inspection by any citizen of the State of Florida subject to Chapter 119, Florida State Statutes.

There are no guarantees that applicants will be awarded funding. Even though a program may qualify, limited funds may not allow all programs to receive assistance. Decisions regarding the award of funds are at the sole discretion of the BOCC.
