Citrus County Offices Closed in Observance of Christmas & New Year’s Day

Citrus County Government offices will be closed in observance of Christmas both Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25, 2018 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in observance of New Year’s Day.

Citrus County Landfill will be open Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24, 2018 from 8am to 2:30pm

Christmas Day Tuesday, December 25, 2018 – Closed

(Household Hazardous Waste and the Administrative Office will be Closed both days.)

The Landfill will reopen for regular business on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

New Year’s Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2019 – Closed

(Household Hazardous Waste and the Administrative Office will also be closed.)

The Landfill will reopen for regular business on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

Citrus County Libraries will be closed on Monday December 24,2018 through Tuesday December 25, 2018.

All branches will resume normal hours on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

All branches of the library will also be closed on Tuesday January 1, 2019 for New Year’s Day.

Normal operation hours will resume the next day, Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

Citrus County Transit will be closed Monday, December 24, 2018 and Tuesday, December 25, 2018 for the Christmas holidays. Transit will be closed Tuesday January 1, 2018 for New Year’s Day.

Citrus County Animal Services will be closed Monday, December 24, 2018 and Tuesday, December 25, 2018 for the Christmas holidays. Citrus County Animal Services will be closed Tuesday January 1, 2018 for New Year’s Day.

Bicentennial Park Pool will be closed for the Christmas Holiday; Sunday, December 23, 2018; Monday, Christmas Eve, December 24, 2018; Tuesday, Christmas Day, December 25, 2018 and Tuesday New Year’s Day, January 1, 2019.
