The United States Social Security Administration’s (SSA) field office in Ocala, which provides services to the citizens of Citrus County, is now open for appointments.

Citrus County Transit Offers Transport to Social Security Office

As a result, Citrus County Transit Services (CCT) is offering one scheduled transport per month; this service furthers the CCT mission to provide safe, secure, clean, and reliable transportation services to the residents and visitors of the county.

Those interested in scheduling transportation must have an appointment at the SSA office scheduled between 9:00am and 11:00am. Riders must be ready to depart from Ocala no later than 12:00pm for their return trip. CCT staff will schedule pick-up and return times based on the number of riders and their appointment times.
