Citrus County Transit Resuming Orange Line Fares

In August, Citrus County Transit’s (CCT) Orange Line (Deviated Fixed Route) resumed service and is continuing to operate at a full schedule. The Orange Line will resume charging fares effective Monday, January 24, 2022. Fares are $1 each way or $2 for the day.

Orange Line bus routes and scheduled stops/times have been further modified. Please visit the CCT website at www.citruscountytransit.com for the most up-to-date details. Hard copy brochures are available for distribution by calling CCT at (352) 527-7630.

Door-to-door service is at currently at full operation and reservations are available. Please call CCT and select option #2 to schedule service. Reservations must be made no later than noon two (2) days prior and no earlier than 14 days in advance. All fares for the door-to-door service are in effect at pre-COVID rates. 

Customers may be eligible under the Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Trust Fund for reduced fare door-to-door service and/or free service on the Orange Line. To determine eligibility, TD applications are available on the CCT website or by calling CCT, option #2.

Face masks are still required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for all public buses and transfer facilities. Passengers without masks will be prohibited from the buses. For more information on federal guidelines, visit www.transportation.gov/safety/mask-travel-guidance.
