Citrus County Transit to Resume Fares for Door-to-Door Services

Citrus County Transit (CCT) will reinstitute fares for demand response (door-to-door) service at pre-COVID rates as of Friday, October 1, 2021. Customers may be eligible for reduced fare under the Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Trust Fund. TD program applications are available on the CCT website.

Citrus County Transit to Resume Fares for Door-to-Door Services

CCT will continue to operate the demand response service with no limits on capacity on each of the buses. Door-to-door service is available for the following trip conditions: doctor’s appointments, employment, grocery/supplies, and prescription pick-up. The bus schedules and times have been updated for each area. For details on bus pickup and drop off times for your location, please visit the CCT website (www.citruscountytransit.com).

The Orange Line (Deviated Fixed Route) has resumed service and is continuing to operate. Bus routes and scheduled stops/times have been modified. Please visit the CCT website or Facebook page for details. Orange Line service will continue to be offered at no charge until further notice.

Face masks are still required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for all public buses and transfer facilities. Passengers without masks will be prohibited from the buses. For more information on federal guidelines, visit www.transportation.gov/safety/mask-travel-guidance.
