Citrus Fire Rescue Chief awarded Firefighter of the Year

Citrus County Fire Rescue, Fire Chief Craig Stevens attended the 2017-2018 awards ceremony at the Blanton-Thompson American Legion Post 155 in Crystal River Saturday, April 28, 2018 where he was presented two Firefighter Of the Year awards at a ceremony during the evening event. The first award was, Firefighter of the Year for 2017-18 from the Blanton-Thompson American Legion Post #155, and  the second award was, Firefighter of the Year for 2018 from the LaSociete des 40 Hommes Et 8 Chevaux 40/8 Voiture #1219.

The award nominations come from members within the post and citizens from community.  Chief Stevens stated, “This is an honor and a privilege to receive these awards. Citrus County Fire Rescue sincerely appreciates the support from our community and this Post. Thank you to all that serve and have served this great Country, State and Community.”
