City of Brooksville Government Facilities to close Nov. 10 for Tropical Storm Nicole

Due to the impending Tropical Storm Nicole, all City of Brooksville government facilities will be closed on Thursday, November 10, 2022, and will remain closed on Friday, November 11, 2022, in observance of the Veterans Day Holiday.  All facilities will reopen on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 8:00 am. 

This closure will include all city buildings/facilities, parks and the cemetery. Residential garbage collection will cease operations during this closure and will resume as regularly scheduled on Monday, November 14, 20122. The regular commercial route will pick-up on Friday, November 11, 2022.

The City Sandbag Site is and will remain open until further notice. The self-serve site is located at 600 S. Brooksville Ave., Brooksville, FL. Residents are reminded to take only what they need and to leave the shovels for the next resident to use.
