City of New Port Richey to Host Business Appreciation Breakfast
The City of New Port Richey will be hosting a business appreciation breakfast at the Recreation and Aquatic Center located at 6630 Van Buren Street on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.
The event is a way for the City to thank local businesses for being a valued part of our community. In addition to a hearty meal before they begin their workday, guests will be treated to a brief presentation by Robert Gibbs. Mr. Gibbs is nationally known for his work in urban retail planning and operations and will share with the business community the results of his New Port Richey Retail Market Analysis. He will also offer ideas on best practices for retail operations and share with them what he has observed while working with many other Florida cities.
“It has been a considerable journey for most of our New Port Richey businesses,” stated Debbie L. Manns, New Port Richey City Manager. “We want to let the businesses know how much we appreciate their contributions to the residents of our great community. Our business owners are engaged and give back in so many different ways and we are thankful.”
The idea came from City Council, many of whom have owned businesses. They expressed the need to let business owners know the City is concerned about their wellbeing and this event is the perfect opportunity to do so.
“There is a new vibe in New Port Richey these days,” Ms. Manns said. “Much of it is attributed to our business owners and that they have stuck with us for so many years.”
