The Nissan Leaf comes with a 40kWh battery and provides a range of up to 150 miles.  Mayor Rob Marlowe stated, “By incorporating electric vehicles into the fleet, it demonstrates the City’s commitment to the environment and the improvement of the overall quality of life for our residents.”

An additional Nissan Leaf will be added to the motor pool fleet within the next couple of weeks and two more electric vehicles have been budgeted for FY 20/21.  The City also plans to install five new electric vehicle stations at different facilities around the city.  The City’s goal is to integrate more electric and hybrid vehicles into its fleet over the upcoming years.
