Coping with Dementia 2021 workshop schedule

The Citrus County Libraries and Coping with Dementia LLC have announced a monthly schedule of ABC of Dementia workshops through December 2021.  The popular two-hour workshop explains the effects of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia to help care partners better understand why behaviors change and how to respond more compassionately.

Coping with Dementia President Debbie Selsavage explains, “We are excited about returning to on-site workshops, but we must follow strict rules until we see improvement in the pandemic situation.  Masks will be required and workshops will be limited to 14 people or less.  The workshops are free, but it will be a good idea to reserve seats early.”   All workshops will run from 10 a.m. to noon at the following dates and locations.  To reserve seats or for more information, call 352-422-3663.
