6th Annual Coping with Dementia Family Caregiver Conference set for January 22nd
The 6th Annual Coping with Dementia Family Caregiver Conference will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22nd at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church at 6 Roosevelt Blvd. in Beverly Hills, Florida.

Coping with Dementia Family Caregiver Conference

Coping with Dementia President Debbie Selsavage states, “We’ll have five to seven speakers on various topics important to caregivers for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.  In addition, there will be two-dozen information tables about resources and services that are available in Citrus County, live music performed by an individual living with dementia, and a panel of experts to answer questions from the audience.”
Selsavage adds, “We are also planning a keynote presentation from a person living with dementia that will inspire us with the message that this disease – though terminal – is not the end of life.  People who have been diagnosed with dementia often have a great deal more to contribute to society and their families, and we hope to demonstrate this convincingly.”
The conference is open to the public and free of charge, including a light lunch sponsored by Vitas Healthcare.  However, space is limited and reservations are required for planning purposes.  To reserve spaces, call 352-422-3663 or e-mail deb@coping.today.  To register on line, go to www.coping.today/events.
