Saturday, September 21st, 8:00 A.M. at the Sims Park Boat Ramp

The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department invites you to participate in the Cotee River Cleanup

The Annual Cotee River Clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, September 21st.  Why not join your fellow New Port Richey Citizens at 8:00A.M. at the Sims Park Boat Ramp and show your pride in our community by helping clean the trash along the banks of the Cotee River!  Cotee River T-Shirts are given out at registration while they last.

Canoers, kayakers, boaters and paddle boarders are needed, so whatever your water craft come join the fun for a great cause.  Everyone is encouraged to participate, so for anyone that doesn’t have access to a water craft, walkers are also welcome to clean a city park! Get Outside Sales and Rentals in downtown New Port Richey has rental kayaks available to be delivered to the Sims Park Boat Ramp for anyone who wishes to participate. After everyone’s hard work and the clean-up is done, The City of New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center provides a thank-you lunch at Sims Park for everyone that turned out and helped! BBQ Hot Dogs, Chips and Water will be waiting at shelter number 5.
