Schoolhouse Museum in Brooksville seeks volunteers

Countryman Family One Room Schoolhouse Museum offers fun and interactive lessons depicting the life of a child in 1852 and is seeking volunteers.

Can you spare just 3 hours per week of your time one day a week? Training is provided and the volunteer position is very easy.  Please give us a try.

If you have ever visited a One-Room Schoolhouse you won’t be disappointed by the Countryman Family One Room Schoolhouse Museum.  Visitors sit at authentic wooden desks and learn how the Pledge of Allegiance was originated, what are the three R’s and how discipline was carried out to name a few.

Countryman Family One Room Schoolhouse Museum is located at 66 Russell Street, in the heart of Downtown Brooksville, Florida.  If you are interested in volunteering and would like additional information, please call Mary at 352-515-3054.
