Create Valentines for Wildlife Park’s otter, Valentine on February 14
Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park invites kids and adults of all ages to make valentines for Valentine, our resident park otter, on Valentine’s Day.
Embrace your craftiness and visit the Discovery Center inside the park from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. where volunteers will provide crafting supplies to create your own masterpiece.
Valentine the otter lost his fear of humans at a young age and cannot survive in the wild on his own. He has a forever home at the State Park where he educates the public about how they can protect his species and their habitat.
The crafting event is free, however regular admission is required to gain access to the park.
