Crews to Begin Construction Work on Chancey Road

An alert for drivers who use Chancey Road in Pasco County.  Construction work on an area of the roadway where a hole formed is set to begin May 31, 2022.

The area of Chancey Road under construction runs from 6th Avenue to Copeland Drive – in both directions. The road will remain closed until work is complete. Signs along Chancey Road direct drivers to detour routes.

Crews will fill in the area and resurface the roadway.

Project Details:

• Work hours are weekdays – 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Some weekend work is possible
• Project is expected to take 30 days to complete, depending upon weather conditions

Southern Road & Bridge, LLC is the contractor for this Pasco County Public Works project.
