Dade City Garden Club 2016 Christmas Ornament Available

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on September 13, 2016

This Year’s Garden Club ornament features The Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The hospital served the medical needs of much of Pasco County between early 1930s and its sale in 1961 to Adventist Health Systems.

The hospital was orginally owned by Dr. T.F. Jasckson, who came to Dade City in the early 1920s and established a two-room emergency hospital on the second floor of the Touchton building (corner of present 7th Street and Meridian).  Seeking to expand his facilities, Dr. Jackson purchased the former home of Rev. H. N. Abraham on Church Street and moved his hospital there…..
For the rest of this historical story of the hospital, come to the Chamber and purchase one of these beautiful ornaments! They are only $22.00 each (payable by check only to the Dade City Garden Club)

Supplies are limited so hurry and get yours today!
