Disaster Assistance Offices extend dates of operation

Due to high demand, Hernando County has extended the dates of the following offices offering disaster relief assistance.


  • The Disaster Assistance Center located at the Mining Association Enrichment Center, 800 John Gary Grubbs Boulevard in Brooksville, will be open Saturday, September 30 through Wednesday, October 4 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Center is staffed by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) personnel. No appointments necessary.

Ridge Manor

  • The Hernando County Building and Zoning divisions’ remote office located at the East Hernando Branch Library will be open Saturday, September 30; Wednesday, October 4; and Saturday, October 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. County, FEMA and the Department of Health in Hernando County representatives will be on site to answer questions regarding disaster assistance. No appointments necessary. The library is located at 6457 Windmere Rd., Brooksville, FL 34602.
