Donate to Diaper Drive through October 31 to aid Hernando County families

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on October 30, 2018

The Hernando County Public Library System has partnered with the The Seventh Mom Project, Inc. to become a “Diapers not Distress” donation site. The “Diapers not Distress” program collects and provides diapers to low-income mothers in hopes to help reduce the risk or ease the burden of postpartum mood disorders. Residents can participate by donating full diaper packages, open diaper packages and /or loose diapers at any of the four library locations listed below during normal business hours from October 22 – October 31, 2018.

Main Library – 238 Howell Avenue in Brooksville

West Branch – 6335 Blackbird Avenue in Brooksville

Spring Hill Branch – 9220 Spring Hill Drive

East Branch – 6457 Windmere Road in Brooksville

Being unable to afford diapers is positively correlated with mental health issues during the postpartum months. Give the gift of healthy, happy babies to our local families by donating diapers today.

Call (352) 754-4043 or visit for more information. Follow @HernandoPublicLibrary on Facebook for updates.

About the Seventh Mom Project
