Edward LaRose named new Principal of Parrott Middle School
Starting July 1st, Edward G. LaRose will be the new principal of Delores S. Parrott Middle School (DSPMS). The position opened when DSPMS Principal, Brent Gaustad, left the middle school to lead Moton Elementary.
LaRose, 37, began teaching at Nature Coast Technical High as a mathematics educator and after nine years moved into school administration at Hernando High School and an assistant principal at F.W. Springstead High School. LaRose is a native of Hernando County and a graduate of Central High School.
“Parrott Middle is a school with knowledgeable staff and a supportive parent network. With those vital components in place, I believe my strength in developing strong relationships and building collaborative professional learning teams will combine to move Parrott Middle to the next level,” LaRose said.
“Ed LaRose leads with humility and integrity. He credits his own success to those caring educators who directly impacted his education and career path. Ed leads from a place of compassion and with a strong commitment to our community. He is a wonderful match for D.S. Parrott.” Superintendent Dr. Lori Romano said.
