The eXtension Financial Security for All Community of Cooperative Extension is sponsoring a national #ImSavingFor Video Contest from February 1, 2017 through the end of 2017 America Saves Week on March 4, 2017.
During this five-week period, Americans of all ages are encouraged to submit a one-minute video about their personal experience with saving money. Contestants must be at least 14 years of age.
Participants are encouraged to create a one-minute video by using live video/audio feed from a smart phone and/or video editing software tools as Windows Movie Maker or Apple iMovie. In their video, they should include how they are saving, where they are saving (e.g., in a bank account or 401(k) plan), why they are saving, benefits of saving, and a description of their personal #ImSavingFor story.
Contestants are encouraged to share the YouTube link for their video on social media (e.g., Twitter and Facebook) from February 1 to March 4. A drawing for prize winners will be held in early March from among those who complete an online entry form containing their video URL, a short caption about their video, and their e-mail address. Three $100 Amazon gift cards will be awarded.
