“We invite everyone to join us in the fight against hunger by enjoying the Citrus Empty Bowls event which has become a local favorite,” says Barbara Sprague, Executive Director of the CFBCC.  “The homemade soup selections are very diverse and include everything from clam chowder and black-eyed pea to Zuppa Toscana.  There’s definitely something for everyone!”

“Citrus Empty Bowls is organized by a committee of volunteers dedicated to helping the Community Food Bank of Citrus County fulfill our mission,” says Mike Orlito, Board Chair of the CFBCC. “We are extremely appreciative of all of the volunteers and generous sponsors who come together each year to make this event a success.”
