Stage West is promoting the work of local playwrights, debuting local actress Angela Sarabia’s first full length play. “Duress” Is a riveting Psychological thriller. The play explores the motivations behind crime and the hard choices victims must face to to survive it.
Derrick, an expert safe-cracker is teaching his older brother John how to break into places and not get caught when they’re interrupted by Anna, a timid accountant with secrets in her past. Derrick uses every tactic he has learned in his difficult life to try to keep the situation under control as Anna learns to take risks to try to turn brothers against each other and survive. The play will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way to its dramatic conclusion. Is only one weekend don’t miss it!
