The Inaugural Hope Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd at 7 a.m. at the Verizon Event Center in New Port Richey. The Sunrise Hope Breakfast is a giving event in which sponsors and attendees enjoy a free breakfast to learn about Sunrise, the various programs offered, and what is happening to stem the violence in our community. Speakers include Dr. Paula O’Neil, Brian Brown, Shawn Foster, and national speaker and domestic violence survivor Melissa Dohme-Hill.

If you are interested in attending, becoming a sponsor, or to book your seat, please contact Sunrise Director of Development Vicki Wiggins at [email protected] or by phone at 352-521-3358.

Sunrise of Pasco Domestic and Sexual Violence Center is an equal opportunity, non-profit services provider that serves Pasco County. Since 1982, Sunrise of Pasco has been providing free victim services to people in the community who are hurting. Sunrise maintains a 40-bed emergency shelter to provide protection for women and children in crisis, provides free counseling services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and fosters a culture of non-violence through various community engagement efforts. The agency serves hundreds of women, men, and children annually, when – in a better world – this kind of work would not even be necessary.
