Mindful Meditation

Whether you are a regular practitioner or new to mindfulness meditation, we invite you to join us each month for an hour of quiet sitting and walking.
This is a secular form of meditation and all are welcome.
Maria Sgambati will lead us on this second gathering. Maria is a physician-scientist who has been a practitioner of mindfulness meditation for over 20 years. She will lead us with a combination of sitting and walking meditation, focusing on our breath and being in the present moment.

Bring your own cushion, yoga mat, or towel for sitting on the floor if you wish.

In light of Covid-19, we continue to take necessary precautions to ensure a safe and healthy event. All attendees will have their temperatures checked before entering the Welcome Center. Please enter wearing a face mask for the safety of yourself and others. Once sitting for meditation, you may remove the mask. If you feel unwell, are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to someone recently, please stay home.
