Mindfulness Meditation – Downtime for Your Brain! – WH

Enjoy a mindful Monday – show up for any or all sessions!  — meditation has been shown to provide  numerous health benefits for mind, body & spirit, improving the brain’s cognitive abilities,  reducing stress, &  increasing overall well-being.Make it a mindful Monday, & join us in the middle of your day, about  30 minutes or so of a variety of short meditations, and also for 20 – 30 minute discussion of a resource to learn more about meditation & about mindfulness in general. If you want to feel less stressed, have better decision-making ability, better ability to handle chronic pain, better memory & mood, & a way to give yourself a break from the to-do list  – meditation has been shown to help. Chairs provided, or  bring a cushion to sit on the floor, if you like.
