Montgomery Gentry Concert
April 19 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm$35 – $50
Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry began performing in the 1990s as part of two different bands with Montgomery’s brother, John Michael Montgomery. Montgomery Gentry was formed in 1999. The duo was known for its Southern rock influences and collaborated with Charlie Daniels, Toby Keith, Five for Fighting, and members of The Allman Brothers Band.
On September 8, 2017, Gentry died in a helicopter crash in Medford, New Jersey, where the duo was scheduled to perform that evening. Despite Gentry’s death, Montgomery continues to tour under the Montgomery Gentry name.
Most of the members of the band have been together for 25+ years, and it seemed like the best way to honor Troy Gentry was to get out on the road and continue making the music that made the duo famous. So the band splits up Troy’s vocals and brings the spirit of country music to the stage in a mighty way.
Come out to Rock Crusher Pavilion in Crystal River for a great night of music with Montgomery Gentry and guest stars The Embry Brothers Band, The Bearded Brothers Band, and Billy Dawson. The venue is fantastic and the entertainers will provide you with an evening you won’t soon forget.
