Join the Save Serenova community group for an educational hike at Starkey Wilderness Preserve’s Serenova Tract on February 17, 2018. Entrance located at Hays Road and SR 52.
Activities begin at 8:00 am. Nature Talk
Wilderness Hike starts at 8:30 am inside the Serenova Preserve.
Environment Resources teacher Josh Mc Cart and conservationist Ken Bolduc will be your guides on a 5-mile moderate roundtrip wilderness hike looping around Fishing Lake. Roughly 2 1/2 hours to complete.
Nature Walks. Leisurely self-guided nature walks for families with children to explore this vibrant place.
Let’s spend some time in nature experiencing what the Serenova Preserve has to offer!
• What to bring
Wear suitable footwear – sugar sand trail. Bring water – no water along the trails. Snacks – to enjoy at the lake. Hat – sun coverage. Sunscreen.
