“Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America,” a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street program will be on view at the Hernando County Mining Association Enrichment Center from September 28 – November 9, 2019. Hernando Audubon Meeting about Florida’s Cranes

Tim Dellinger will present an overview of Sandhill and Whooping cranes in Florida, with a focus on the natural history of our non-migratory subspecies. He will describe ongoing Florida Sandhill Crane research, along with suggestions on how we can be good neighbors to cranes that live among us.
