Saturday, October 7, at Sims Park (6341 Bank Street) from 7-8:30PM, the City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department invites you to enjoy the “Turnstiles” band tribute to Billy Joel and his music.
Ever since “Turnstiles” performed their sold out debut show in 2011, they have performed to tens of thousands of enthusiastic Billy Joel fans.
So grab your “Uptown Girl” and get “Captain Jack” to take you up the “River of Dreams” to listen to “The Entertainer” better known for “The Longest Time” as the “Piano Man.”
The “Turnstiles” shows are selling out in record time and are being met with rave reviews. Faithfully recreating Billy’s music with a totally live band sets them apart from the pack! So, if you love Billy Joel, we promise you will love the “Turnstiles!” “Turnstiles” deliver a Billy Joel concert experience in such a faithful way that they will certainly move the casual listener as well as the hard core Billy Joel fan to their feet to have them singing along with the classics!
The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present this Fall Concert after the unparalleled success of the Summer Concert Series, which brought music lovers of all ages to the downtown’s focal point, beautiful Sims Park, to enjoy a free concert in an outdoor setting.
This fall concert is free to attend, so bring the entire extended family, chairs, and blankets and be ready for a rockin’ good time!
Snacks will be available for purchase from local merchants in the park during the concert. While you’re here, visit the New Port Richey downtown restaurants and shops before the concert starts!
Limited seating is provided but please feel free to bring your own chairs. Please leave your pets at home for this event.
