Save the Date’ and help improve quality of life for Pasco seniors

The Pasco County Elderly Nutrition Division is pleased to announce that Feeding Pasco’s Elderly will host the 1st Leadership Breakfast, honoring Pasco County Commissioner Ron Oakley, on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club located at 12900 Lake Jovita Blvd, in Dade City, Florida.

This inaugural Leadership Breakfast on the east side of Pasco County, will mirror the highly successful Ambassador’s Breakfast fundraising event that has been held for the past two years on the west side of the county.

“This new event will be a great benefit to Pasco’s elderly,” said Gabriel D. Papadopoulos, Pasco County Elderly Nutrition Division Manager.  “A few years ago, we had more than 200 seniors on our meal service waiting list.  Today, thanks mainly to money raised during the Annual Ambassador’s Breakfasts, we have fewer than 50 people on the list.”

One in six seniors in Pasco County is hungry or food insecure.  Please join us for the 1st Leadership Breakfast to help raise money that will provide desperately-needed meal service to those who are unable to help themselves.  With your support, we can ensure that no senior is wondering where their next meal will come from.
