Final Farm-to-Table Dinner for 2018-2019 season April 20

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on April 10, 2019

When the first farm-to-table dinner took place in New Port Richey last fall, organizers of the event had no idea what a success they would become.  FarmNet will now conclude its season with one last farm-to-table dinner on Saturday, April 20 at 6 p.m.

The dinner will be held at Rose’s Bistro Off Main in downtown New Port Richey. (6238 Grand Blvd, New Port Richey, Florida)

Meals are served buffet style and are created by Chef Carl Hille.  The vegetables and fruit used in his recipes are grown locally at one or more of the many organic gardens in New Port Richey. Chef Carl creates the main course, sides, and salad.  The cost per person to attend is $25.

Also part of the evening is an address by Dell deChant, a faculty USF faculty member and a participant in the FarmNet project. He will talk about the value of localism in food, commerce, and consciousness – and the FarmNet project.

Make Reservations Now for the Final Farm-to-Table Dinner on April 20

Only 30 seats are available for the April 20 dinner and anyone interested in attending is asked to call Rose at (727) 849-4940 to make advanced reservations.

Remember, this is the last farm-to-table event until the fall, so register as soon as possible – places at the table are at a premium.

New Port Richey FarmNet develops sustainable local food production and distribution systems, supports locally owned and operated businesses, develops resilient economic structures, educates on principles and practices of urban agrarianism and cultural resiliency, and cultivates authentic communities.
