Florida Voter Registration Deadline is July 30
Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley, announces the voter registration books for the August 28, 2018 Primary Election will close on Monday, July 30, 2018, for all new registrants to the State of Florida and to anyone wishing to change their party. Voter registration applications mailed to the supervisor’s office at PO Box 300, Dade City FL 33526, should bear a postmark of July 30th or earlier, or be brought directly to one of the three Supervisor of Elections’ Offices.
By law, Florida is a closed primary state which means the candidate choices on your Primary Election ballot will be the same party affiliation as your voter registration. Parties nominate their candidate who goes on the ballot in November to oppose candidates of other party affiliations. Voters registered with no party affiliation can vote in the primary in non-partisan School Board Member races and judicial races. Sample ballots are available on our website www.pascovotes.com.
Voters who believe their voter registration is in good standing are encouraged to double check their status before Monday. Voters can check their registration at www.pascovotes.com or call 800-851-8754.
To be accessible to voters for last minute registrations and updates, all Supervisor of Elections’ Offices will be open Saturday, July 28th, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and extended hours on Monday, July 30, 2018 until 7:00 p.m. at the following locations:
